We talked about this in the last few days. Yes, it's a problem, but I think
it's not a problem we can and have to solve now. Quite contrary to the first
impression is the fact, that this restriction helps to concentrate the votes
to the self-nom candidates.

Das Thema wurde erst kürzlich diskutiert. Ja, es ist ein Problem. Trotzdem
glaube ich, daß es nicht sinnvoll ist, dieses jetzt anzugehen. Stattdessen
bietet diese Situation die Chance, in der Oktober-Abstimmung die Stimmen auf
die alternativen Kanidaten zu konzentrieren.

:Is it possible for a candidate to quit the nomination process as soon as

Every voter can change it's endorsment at any time untill the servers crash
or the election is over. So nobody can expect to keep the votes he already
have and therefore has to stay on the list. Unlike the UMTS auction, we do
have a deadline.

Jeder Wähler kann jederzeit (bis zum Wahlende oder zur Überlastung der
Server) seine Stimme wechseln. Deshalb müssen alle Kanidaten in der
Abstimmung verbleiben, da sie nicht wissen, ob sie ihre Stimmen auch bis zum
Ende behalten.

They are elected for one to three years. At the moment I do not know which
director will server for which time. Elections will take place yearly. It's
similar to the de.admin.news.announce scheme I cofounded.

Die Direktoren bleiben ein bis drei Jahre im Amt und werden jährlich gewählt.
Ich weiß momentan nicht genau, wer wie lange amtieren wird. Die Nachwahlen
finden jährlich statt, wie es von der dana-Moderation bekannt ist.
