[ICANN-EU] privacy and free choice vs. industry advancement

Dear Candidates:

 

The internet industry - providers of access, content, software - has an

interest to know as much about its customers as possible. And to direct

his/her path to its site as often as possible.

 

Over the last years developed a tendency to gain access to

or control over the users screen, data, path, etc.

 

I wonder, where the candidates draw the line, when evaluating

the advancement of the industry in contrast to the free choice and

self control of the user?
