Certainly.

Huh ? I have not understood a word of that ?

Certainly not. I'm sure the serious candidates won't have trouble
to match the NomComs any way. Take the Germans. Andy runs circles around
Schueller in terms of PR experience, and I hope he knows his technology
well enough to keep a standing there as well. Lutz has had his fair
share of
net.politics, is damned well versed in the technology side and has
gained a
vast amount of respect among netizens by his various adminstrative tasks
he
handled well. As for Jeanette, I'm not sure if she could match Schueller
in
a technical debate, but she's certainly got an overview and perspective
from
her research that's difficult to match for a Telekom buerocrat.
And so on.
Sorry, the only remotely acceptable NomCom candidates for Europe seem to
be
Hansen and Popov, and I'm not sure how to weigh Popov's NATO ties at
all.

That alone should speak volumes.

Who is Thomas ?
