[ICANN-EU] answers

Good day,

I´d like to give a few comments on the answers I received:

1. Alf, different candidates with different opinions is information and
therefore important to this nomination.

2. The question of censorship is an issue of technical standards and
different laws and the Governmental Advisory Committee as part of the ICANN
focuses on this question.

3.In this context the opposing answers of Rolf and Constantin are very
interesting. I think censorship is always part of undemocratic structures
and a dangerous instrument to oppress uncomfortable opinions. If our
democratic system really works, there should be no danger from nationalism
expressed through the web. And in fact a democratic state should never have
to use disproportionate force to survive. If a facist site on an american
server is a real danger to a democratic state - don`t forget that the
end-user has to operate the searchengine - the political education of its
citizens was a poor one.

4. I totally agree with constantin, the web and its netizens will transform
our society if we keep the use of the internet as open as possible.

5. Andreas, you will end up in court no matter if you sell "Mein Kampf" on a
site in the US or in Germany. Even if you just use a hyperlink to an
american site selling this book knowing about this circumstance, you are
responsible as a "Diensteanbieter" through the "Teledienstegesetz". This
points out, that it is up to the governement to strengthen the law if
necessary and that it is possible to keep the web clean by national law on a
world wide consens without censorship.

Thank you, Ralf Möbius
