Re: [ICANN-EU] ICANN endorsement period prolonged

For the record, I have received the message as "advanced notice to
candidates".
My guess is that, in order to provide the official notice, some formal
approval procedure has to be done. Which takes obviously more time than the
unofficial polling of the Board members.

I personally exclude that the notification will be sent only to the members
that did not vote yet, because the ones that did already vote are also
affected by the decision, considering that they may at any time change their
mind.

The notice the candidates received was a kind "Heads up! Don't panic, you'll
have more time".
May I take this chance to thank ICANN (who monitors this list without any
doubt) for this wise decision that, in the end, will allow more people to
vote adding more legitimacy to the ballot.

Regards
Roberto
