Dear Constantine,
In politics the respect of others is not simply a reflection of a
candidate's self respect.
I have had to learn this truth the hard way.
Too much self-respect is deadly in politics.
Time is short. I do not know any of the European candidates well enough to
ooze respect for any one of them. Putting the questions to Jeanette by name
was only a reflection of the "independent support for.." headers just
preceding.
Respect must be earned.
The substance of the questions matters.
