Dear Sabine,
Berend is a very poetic person and I tried to
meet his standard by answering somewhat
poetically or at least metaphorically. Maybe
to you all these are just words, but there is
some truth also to this: What cognitive
studies people and philosophers taught us
in recent years is that the inner model one
forms for the world around him/her
including his possible actions are very
much influenced by the way he/she names
things. That said, I agree that actions are
much more important than words, and
that means that we must act and not just
talk in order to make a better world!
