Please do not overload it. It will break. There are other groups which are
active on these issues (you mentioned it).

I doubt it. Such physical meetings come up with a consensus of those people
who travel to every meeting in the world, most experts do not. So I prefer
mailinglits and in the case of a urgent decision a phone conference.
Physical meetings have to be prepared before and after the meetings only to
get the main results from informal discussions in the evening.
