I recall a recent interview with Esther Dyson where she pointed out
that ICANN has to check with laywers for every bit of information they
intend to publish on the ICANN site. The not-for-profit status of
ICANN, she said, has turned out to be a bigger obstacle as expected.
Is it likely that we would run into the same problem if we asked ICANN
to host or announce something that has been set up ALM?
