I am inclined to agree, although there may be instances that a malicious
list-disturber is not worth saving as a "voice" and permanent removal is
warranted.
In such rare cases the vote of the list -participants might be a more
democratic way of ostracising such a person than the fiat of the listowner.
The idno-discuss list has had a long and bitter fight about its rules: the
result, arrived at by majority vote can be seen at www.idno.org/discuss.htm
