Re: [ICANN-EU] [Q&A] the exciting adventures of a nominee

Andrew,

Please relax. (no exclamation point needed)

In my opinion, it should be clear to anyone that the make-up of the
ICANN Board is irrelevant. All of this election (selection?) process is
more window dressing by the same old cast of characters who have
a firm control over IPv4 allocations and the legacy root servers (which are
no
longer needed). IPv6 allocations do not matter because people are not
going to be tricked into putting their hardware IDs (MAC addresses)
into each packet, which by the way was never the case with IPv4.

With respect to new Top Level Domains (TLDs). The world continues
to move forward. ICANN can attempt to raise the bar and require higher
and higher fees (bribes?) to "qualify" registries. It is interesting that
ICANN
could probably not meet its own qualifications, which is just one more
example of the hypocrisy of your situation. Also, it is interesting that the
bar was not set to match the "least qualified" existing legacy TLD
operation.

Again, this does not matter....relax, people are routing around you...
