Well ICANN has been complaining about its insufficient funding... The new
gTLDs may change this to the better from an ICANN perspective. There is
not much choice for us at the moment. Moving to another country doesn't
help in this case.

Yes, I can share your feelings here. I would not be surprised though CORE
will be more than willing to pay 33 cents to ICANN on all the domains they
will be allowed to sell starting early next year. And we will all buy them
from CORE. Won't we?
