I think this is a fair question to ask. I do not know why the nom com
nominated me, you have too ask them, but one reason is probably that I
meet some of their well published criteria.
Yes, I am a ccTLD manager right now. I have not been a ccTLD manager all
my life, and I will probably not stay as one for the rest of my life.
Things change. I would have understood your conserns better if I have
had economical interests in the Norwegian ccTLD. I have no such
interests. UNINETT FAS is a non-commercial company and the goal for the
ccTLD part of it is "in understanding with the local Internet community,
protect the .no domain." By doing that I have to look at the problems
also from the user's point of view, and I think I can do something good
for the AT-Large community.

Agree completely. The person elected by the At Large should be able to
protect the interests of the individual, and be able to vote in the
Board not influenced by his employer or any other special interest
groups.
