[ICANN-EU] thanx for the fish & lets start the work

Hello,

after the simulation of legitimation through this years
at-large selection ended, it seems to be my job for some
time to support transparency, decentralisation, bottom-up
legitimation of ICANN and existence of a non-commercial
public space based on free flow of information and much more.

To be able to do this, and to enshure possibilities for
participation of european internet users & at-large-members,
IŽd like to invite you to participate in at least two mailing-lists:

icann-news@lists.ccc.de
(subscribe with: icann-news-subscribe@lists.ccc.de)

shall be for distribution of all kinds of news, media reports,
official and unofficial documents, including URL`s where to
find more, but _not_ for discussion. Therefore

icann-debate@lists.ccc.de
(subscribe with: icann-debate-subscribe@lists.ccc.de)

is thought as an open forum of internet-users & at-large
members for discussion of icann- & related discussions

Both mailing-list shall not replace any of the existing
mailinglists like icann-europe@fitug.de, they shall give
some discussions more room and structure.

I guess it would be a good idea to make some priorities
facing the scedule of the november-meeting to prepare
it here in europe as good as we can and also ask ICANN
about the legitimation of older decisions.

best regards,

Andy Mueller-Maguhn
