[ICANN-EU] .ORG and .ORGY and .XXX

Some people apparently think that BEFORE more TLDs are added
to the IPv4 legacy root name servers, that the .ORG and .NET zones
should be "filled" up, like .COM. You might have noticed that there is
also a reluctance to add the .XXX or other adult TLDs to the legacy
root zones. Apparently, some people feel that the under-utilized .ORG
pronounced "OR-Gee" TLD can be used to attract adult sites.

Some people also note that the .ORGY TLD never made it into the
2,048 IPv8 TLD allocations. With the new cut-off at 153 Registrations
for the smallest DLDs, the current 74 registrations in -ORGY.com are
not enough to put it into the running. This apparently encourages people
even more to note that .ORG is the new TLD for adults. Because of
this, some companies do not want .orG names, even though NSI is
trying to encourage companies to buy them. (see below)

I can assure you that the 74 registrations in -ORGY.com are mostly
adult-oriented. We do not look at the .ORG zone, so we can not tell
what is happening there. Since it is now clear that few if any TLDs
will be added to the legacy roots, and since people seem to have this
desire to fill up the name-space already there, before adding more,
it appears that .ORG will become a synonym for .ORGY. I am not
sure that is fair for the people registering in -ORGY.com but there does
not seem to be much anyone can do.
