Re: [icann-eu] Re: keynote invitation: Andy

Maybe it´s not so easy to let you hear my voice through e-mail,
but of course I am happy to discuss with you the issues here. If
you want to hear my voice give me a call, listen to the chaos
radio-show on monday (http://www.ccc.de) or go to one of the
conferences/meetings i announce on my website.

I am not shure you´re asking me to comment any thread here,
but looking at the scedule it seems to be making sense to discuss
the issues you´d like to be adressed at the melbourne meeing.

I´d like to work out a "todo" list for melbourne together with
you here and set some priorities. So, before I post my list
and the priorities I see, I´d like to get to know your needs
and suggestions here and elsewhere.

What I plan to do is to set up some concrete problems to be
mentioned in melbourne and set up daily reports on my
website (see signature).

One of the issues with greatest importance but also beeing
one of the most difficult is the question of possibilities of
participation and in gerneral the future of the "at large
members". I guess it would help a lot, if at least some people
from this mailinglist would also support things like the
non-commercial domain-name-holders-constituency
(http://www.ncdnhc.org) cause it ´s the right institution
for some of the issues (taking place in the DNSO).

What I need much more is specific knowledge about the different
problems taking place in the "icann-europe" countries in
relationship with cc´tld´s and registrar-policies. I already
got some precise problem-descriptions, but not very many.

So, I´d be happy to get more input on the things you´d like
to see adressed instead of just expectactions that I do all the
work in all countries and you get regular reports here. I am
involved in a lot of topics already and try to adress the
issues at the relevant places, but the more feedback and
input I get from you here the better I can support you.

ok?

A.
