I simply think that each of us is free to decide whether they want to fund
Denise's work or not. Personally, I think that accounting of such funds
should be given at least to those who donated them - and that, anyway, I
wouldn't fund any effort before getting sure of how the money will be spent
and how it has been spent in the past. And I still can't understand why
Denise's work can't be funded by ICANN itself.

And if you read the charter the panel approved (and I wrote ;-) ) for our
participation in the ALOC, we explicitly stated that any agreement between
ICANN and the "At Large Structures" (or however you might want to call them)
should not require such structures to fund ICANN.
