[atlarge-discuss] Sorry, but Jeff Williams again.
Dear all,
I'm really sorry for bringing up The Jeff Williams Question again,
but i found htis rather interesting conversation in the archives
<http://www.dnso.org/clubpublic/ga-icann/Arc00/msg00047.html>:
So Jeff, there's no CENSORSHIP on this group. So why arent your
members joining US? We could definitely do with all those 127k
members...!!!?!

Why?
I have no good idea. What I do know that at one time Harald A.
along
with a few others, felt that if our members did join the DNSO GA
that
it would effectively be "Captured" by "Special Interests". Of
course,
that is ludicrous, but that was the attitude displayed.
It would seem to be in the best interest of the DNSO and the GA
to
include all who want to join.
I agree, but as you can see from Andy Gardner's questionable
attitude
a few individuals wouldn't agree.
If I'm not mistaken the GA can accept them
anyway. Also if I'm not mistaken the DNSO has a purpose which is
such that
not including as much of the public as possible would be a
conflict with
that purpose.
Also agreed here as well. But again our members are blocked
from doing
so. Can you say CENSORSHIP? :(
