I applaud Vittorio's motion.

It addresses the first simple and direct issue.

New Elections, YES or NO.

All the other detail should be sorted after this Motion is passed.

If it is not passed, the Panel will be in defiance of the membership,

AFAIK, members who have not resigned yet are: Jefsey, Bruce, Edmundo,
Satyajit (though we do not have any notice of him since many months),
and myself. Quorum is 60% of 7 = 5 votes.

I think it's better to separate practicalities (such as who runs the
election and when) from the main decision - so let's just decide
whether we want to dissolve our panel now, or call the replacements in
(but if we successfully fill the gaps, then we'll have no elections in
the short term).

So the motion is just:

"The Panel approves that elections for a new icannatlarge.org Panel
are to be held as soon as practically possible, notwithstanding the
original deadline for the present Panel."
