It might. As is usual in the tech world, it seems there are more
males than females on this list and a couple of them can be kinda
condescending. On the other hand, it's possible Bruce just assumed
you were a woman because you take a non-combattive and practical
approach to real work...

Well, I hope so, too, but if not, I guess I could do the
mailing if nobody else wanted to. Of course, I believe if
I do that, I should stick to the mailing-and-receiving
role and not try to be a "watchdog" at the same time,
for whichever process(es) is(are) used for the elections.

One thing about being female, at least in my age bracket,
is being quite accustomed to the secretarial tasks the guys
think are too time-consuming and tedious. Hence, perhaps,
my heightened awareness of how important it is that somebody
do them...
