Seeing the number of posts on those forums I can understand the need for
frequent advertising, however it is becoming to a level where it gets to
be spam.

Can we please rest this issue about "posting to the forums" (which are
totally controlled by only you; talking about transparancy) until AFTER
the elections ?

I will  try to focus the members' activity.

I agree with your take on ICANN.
Self-organizing is our only hope.

In organizing our structure, we also have to avoid 
single-points-of-failure, to insure our survival.
