As discussed with Joanna Lane a few days ago, having one and 
only one region is necessary according to the Election Rules
in case of a tie. In the first elections, we have followed 
the rule that people who are *citizens* of a specific 
country are listed in that region. I'm well aware that 
in some cases, people may feel more attached to the country 
they live in, but that could also be the reverse if the rule 
were to be reversed.

That's correct. You have not been nominated by another member
of ICANNatlarge.com (see the part about single self-nominations)
and the one mail saying "I nominate Jeff Williams" was not a
valid nomination (see the part about invalid nomination/second)
and has BTW been retracted by the author since.

I apologize! Since the subject line of Gabriel Pineiro's message
was "DEADLINES for nominations, acceptance, statements" and the
sender did not contain his name, it was overlooked. His acceptance
is dated "Mon, 22 Jul 2002 06:59:46 -0300", he has been nominated
correctly and he is a member of Icannatlarge.com. Thus, he is also
an eligible candidate (the list will be updated).
