If I may... please consider that Bruce's point is shared by many even
inside ISOC itself; for example, it seems that in a good part of the
European Chapters there is disappointment about the internal
reorganization ISOC had a few months ago, which made individual
membership free, but also made it almost completely irrelevant in the
management of the organization. In the internal list of our Chapter
many - including myself - agreed openly with that point of view.
