Vittorio,  you wrote "that organizations should be able to prove their 
membership numbers and not just to claim them".  How do you intend to prove 
your own numbers?  Is someone that hasn't paid any membership fee really a 
member, or just someone with enough of an interest to sign their name onto a 
website page? 

The IDNO website lists around 300 members (none of whom have ever paid any 
membership fees).  How many members do they really have?  At this point, 
perhaps 5?  Certainly that's the most that have voted in their last two 
on-line votes.

There is a big difference between being an actual member and simply having 
put your name at one point onto a list.
