Given that there is really no way to verify who is a
member and for what reasons, I would say that anything's
possible in this yet to be organization. Stranger things
have happened in ICANN fora. Capture fears are not one
sided, I'm afraid. Furthermore, I cannot for one instant
believe that a majority of the entire membership was (or
could be) satisfied with your performance as Chair the
last time round. Unless, of course, they approved of your
inactivity and your kowtowing in Bucharest... But, like I
already said, anything's possible. We're all watching
closely now Vittorio, so I suggest you simply give in to
your own stated unconcern for the Chairmanship and let
someone else have a chance, perhaps Joanna?
