[atlarge-discuss] Re: [atlarge-panel] RE: [atlarge-discuss] Current suggestions list of new names/DN's for our group..

Well, we willprobably end with many @large aliases so everyone can test them and we can determine from usage what is the best.

However the one I think which has the more meanings is world@large (or 5@5)
1. world means geography and all the countries and cities
2. @ means the internet
3. large means "us" in many different ways.

But http://internetatlarge.com/net/org is certainly of interest for a WG on the Internet global usage?

The only real problem is that Marc Schneider owns atlarge.org and has not responsded to my mail asking about him helping us in a way or so. If Joanna had contacted him before I suppose it is he wants $ 300. Maybe could we set-up a paypal service somewhere and see if we can collect the money. I can certainly manage the DNS files and a name server out of the http://dot-root.com project to route the sub-addresses towards as many web-sites we can gave.

If we have to go with at large - and you know I have my reservations -
InternetAtLarge makes more sense to me than WorldAtLarge, since its the
internet environment we're dealing with and its more focused. Also, I had
a partner years ago who taught me about the rhythm of writing and the
spoken word.

For me, NetAtLarge seems a bit abrupt, while InternetAtLarge flows better.

Re availability, I have this minute purchased:

InternetAtLarge.org
InternetAtLarge.com
InternetAtLarge.net

They are registered in my BulkRegister account under my name. If y'all
like them let me know who to transfer them to. It was worth $30 bucks on
the chance that you might want it.

p.s. re a logo, I rather like the image of ICANNatLarge, with a big red
slash through ICANN and Internet written above it in handwriting font.
