Judith, 

Just one example, ICANN Resolution 02.83 on the Redemption Grace Period 
benefits At-Large interests.  Don't let your cynicism completely blind you to 
some of the positive work that is being done.  It's easy to demonize your 
adversaries, to paint them as evil incarnate -- it's a technique long used in 
political circles, but it is also a distortion.
