Although I railed in the past against this idea when the ALSC recommended
it, and don't feel it would give us nearly as much influence as that
mandated in the MoU, at this point I agree with Danny that this might be our
best change for continuing our conversation with ICANN. This is not to say
that this needs to be our final relationship: if outreach is successful,
number have a way of changing peoples minds!  But it's a good negotiating
position for now.
