LatinomerICANN
One of the core themes of the development of the DNS system, and
therefore of the present Internet, is in the reform process, that is
taking place in ICANN. The Reform Committee
(http://www.icann.org/committees/evol-reform) is chaired by the
vice-president of the Board of ICANN, Alejandro Pisanty (of the
Universidad Nacional de Mexico, Mexico).
Within this process, one of the items of special interest is the
participation of the community, of individual members, that are called
members AT-Large.
As part of this discussion, LatinomerICANN has been participating in the
processes of creating contributions for the ICANN Reform Process,
together with other Latin American organizations. Among these
activities, I prepared a series of contributions that can be found in
the Web page of LatinomerICANN.
We invite you to visit this Web page, either to inform yourself, or to
participate by means of making comments or by participating in surveys,
or in the forums that have created for them. It is interesting to have a
space for interchange and dialogue.
Even that you participate is already basic for this process... let us

Dominio, y por ende del actual Internet, esta en el proceso de Reforma,
que esta llevando el ICANN. El comite de reforma
(http://www.icann.org/committees/evol-reform/), se encuentra presidido
por el vice-presidente del Board del ICANN, Alejandro Pisanty (de la
UNAM, Mexico)
Dentro de dicho proceso, uno de los temas de especial interes es el de
participación de la comunidad, los miembros individuales, que se
encuentran en los denominados miembros At-Large.
Como parte a esta discusión, LatinomerICANN, ha estado participando de
los procesos de creación de aportes para la Reforma, en conjunto con
otras organizaciones latinoamericanas. De entre estos trabajos, se
preparo una serie de aportes, que se pueden encontrar en la pagina web
de LatinomerICANN.
