Re: [atlarge-discuss] Re: Divide and conquer

Thomas and all stakeholders or other interested parties and members,

In part I am afraid that I must agree with Thomas's comments
below. I differ with respect to needing to ask ICANN anything
regarding the use of the registered DN ICANNATLARGE.COM
however. I also differ that Joanna or Judith needed to disclose
their relation with their private atty. regarding this issue, though
that may have been helpful.

I also was both disappointed in Joanna's reaction to John Berryhills
original post which kicked all of this off in the first place. She
just plain overreacted and than tried to circumvent an ongoing
vote as a result. Running scared is not a good leadership
quality, IMHO. Hence why I was and remain disappointed
in Joanna. But to be fair, Joanna has added much needed
ideas to this organization, and we as members should not
forget that fact.

Judith's decision may also have been based in the same vain as
Joanna's, but I don't really know that. I doubt any other member
here does either. None the less, whatever her reason for resigning
is or was, is moot at this point. We need to move forward.

I hope every member here learned something about real leadership
with this incident. I hope it is never repeated. Real leaders,
regardless
of their level of charge must not shy away from adversity, but rather
embrace it and try to solve it equitably.

I personally fear no repercussions from ICANN or their legal
folks. They are in my opinion not worthy of my concern. I also
have severalDN's with the string "ICANN" as part of them. Let
sue and I will address that problem when the time comes, which
I believe will never come anyway..
