The motion on Brett wasn't made until a previous motion to make Sotiris
Webmaster was made but not seconded.  My bad as much as anyone's, since I
missed the motion somehow, or I would have gladly seconded it.  But none the
lerss, with no second, the motion was dead, so a second motion to appointt
Brett was made.

I object to the implication that the panel is a "star chamber."  Most of us
are trying our best to play things straight, and follow established rules of
order to the extent they apply.  But doing so is sure to make those who
don't get the result they want unhappy.  There is no help for that.
