Folks -

What I recently posted was just the MS Vision. Here is the complete
mission statement:

VISION

To MAINTAIN and advance the global interests of the Internet in an open
democratic process, by innovation, communication, and international
encouragement of the concept that the needs and rights of all people are
not to be abrogated by the technical, business, military or governmental
interests of those who are otherwise so vested.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission Statement of "Internet At-Large" ("IAL"), an independent
non-profit organization, that, primarily, draws its membership from the
Internet's "At Large Members" ("ALM") of the Internet's Domain Naming and
Numbers Organizations ("DNNOs").
 
 - To ESTABLISH a voice for all people using the Internet, and foster and
maintain a high standard of integrity, honesty, and character amongst and
between the Internet's DNNOs, its ALM, and the IAL membership.
 
 - To PROMOTE the appropriate functioning of the Internet, and cultivate,
and disseminate knowledge and information concerning the duties and
responsibilities of IAL members, the Internet's ALM, and the Internet's
DNNOs.
 
 - To FURNISH information on an open organization basis, regarding the
Internet's DNNOs, its ALM, and the IAL, to all IAL members and to anyone
who may wish to join the IAL.
 
 - To ENCOURAGE, advance, and sustain open communications amongst and
between IAL members, the Internet's ALM which they support, and all those
represented by the Internet's DNNOs.
 
 - To PROVIDE the means for all individuals to have their voices heard via
a mechanism and a framework of rules that have the Internet's DNNOs
consult the ALM on the issues of global Internet regulation that concern
them, and to elect representatives from the ALM to sit on the DNNOs Boards
or on any other authorities tasked with global regulation concerning
Internet Domain Names and Numbers.
