Jeff: Do your homework before you "spew". Danny has pointed out a
"scam" situation not unlike many others which have been noted on this
list earlier. If one was to take the time to research properly you
would note that the Internet Registry of Canada is not a CIRA
sanctioned registrar. This fact is something which, especially with
the guise in which their solicitations were presented, was lost on the
unsuspecting individuals targeted. The truth is, the system here "is"
working and those who would abuse it are being identified and pursued.

I believe, with some editorial licence, what Danny was trying to
convey is the fact that this sort of situation continues and will
continue until we establish an effective governance model for the net.
Moreover what is needed is an educational/informational process
whereby netcitizens can easily determine fact from fiction when
confusing and/or misleading items appear in their inbox. This is
precisely the space where our "floundering" atlarge effort needs to
establish a presence and can truly serve the global Internet
community.

Jeff, think before you "spew". I thought I conveyed that to you
during your late night "courtesy" phone call .... Do not bother
repeating it please.

And furthermore Jeff, please get your facts right. I believe you
are referring to an exchange between Tim and Jefsey here. I have
nothing to do with the post you allude to.

JW> Oh and Ted, again BTW you also misquoted me again here

JW> All 5 DNS servers are misconfigured, not just the examples
JW> I provided. Did you happen to do a reverse lookup on all of them?
JW> Seems not...

JW> Did you happen to do a DIG on any of them Ted?
