I can recall, and if necessary, pull up the archived E-Mails that you have
sent Vittorio that might challenge you statement here in at least an indirect
way.
I hope that will not become necessary. ???? I agree with you however that
other affiliations such as yours with the ISOC in Italy MAY not unduly
influence your thinking as your elected position as Chair of the Panel.
However it is only reasonable to assume or at least consider, as Eric,
myself, Sotiris, and other members, that such is no more than normal
to be concerned about given your personal history in frequently, in the
past, referencing the ISOC in your comments, statements and ideas
expressed in this organization. This is not to say that drawing from your
experience in the ISOC is not possibly useful as you mention in your
comments regarding the split of the ISOC in the EU/ECC from the
US Headquarters of the ISOC...
I for one am of the strong belief that when dealing with membership
organizations in Internet Governance business or interests, such
collaborations are a two edged sword that slices both ways and
for ICANNATLARGE.ORG would not be healthy at this juncture
of our existence.
