That's grand but my ISP seems to have chosen a bad time to
reconfigure itself, with the result that I have been without
Web access for a week even though I can fortunately send and
receive e-mail.

As in the entertainment industry award shows, I'd like to
thank
a) everyone who did manage to vote
b) Hugh Blair for kindly reporting the result of that odd
"who don't you want?" list where I can read it
c) Richard Henderson who summarized the vote on our mission
and proposed we continue to use the Polling Booth on an
ongoing basis to keep us on track (I second the motion)
d) "Atlarger" for the trust/distrust list, as well as
everyone who expressed faith in me
e) Walter, who points out we are indeed ready to work now,
and -- last but by no means least -- Joop for making the polling
possible.

Regards,

Judyth
(one of the multitude who wasn't planning to volunteer
for the Nominating Committee anyway but feels oddly relieved
not to have been blackballed)
