As did Jan and I, as well as Walter Schmidt and (I think) Abel
Wisman (can't find his message about it but I recall he had
offered to help).

On confirmation from the Panel that *it* (not just
Vittorio) had previously resolved you should have these things,
I would willingly send you such information as Vittorio
sent me. Failing that, I won't send the information
anywhere until the group adopts an election process and
delegates the mailing of notices, etc. to me or somebody
else.
Alternatively, if the remainder of the Panel would care
to confirm they are still serving as our current Panel
and request it, I would be even happier to send all of
them the list and FTP information ... since this just
might prevent our being caught in a similar situation
in the future. This does not include the domain name
password, of course; since it would not be needed to
scrutinize an election, it wasn't sent to me.
Finally, and perhaps least controversially, we might
want to follow-up on the suggestion that we ask Karl
Auerbach to be the custodian of this information until
we can get our act together and behave like adults.
Yet another option is to publish the whole list and
password here and let whoever wants to, fight it out
amongst themselves as to who is "ICANNATLARGE.ORG"
all on their own. It would be a violation of
confidentiality and I'd prefer not to do this but I
am royally fed up with all the ego-games which are
being played here to the great detriment of any
representation at all for Internet users.

In the end, Jefsey, it's not your fault - the membership
voted and naturally has to live with the results. This is,
of course, one of the reasons I've been harping on the need
for a longer period in which candidates can be questioned
by members before a vote is taken... and the development
of a bylaw whereby somebody elected to the Panel can be
removed if he/she acts against the best interests of
ICANNATLARGE.ORG in pursuit of some other goal.
Boring as ever,
Judyth
