Were the nominees made on Joop's site ever forwarded to the watchdogs, or
were we expected to have ESP and know about them psychically?

The fact is, the mechanism for nominees was clearly stated in the message: a
reply to the letter we sent out, or a mesasage to the Discuss list, the
address to which was given in the message, and to which anyone with an
e-mail account can post to.

If Joop wishes to conduct an unofficial parallel nominating venue, then *he*
has the responsibility to pass any inputs received via that venue to the
watchdogs.  If we don't get them that's not our bad.

We can't be responsible if people don't follow basic instructions and choose
to use alternate proceeedures.
