I registered www.ikann.org this evening. I quite like the idea of setting up
an alternative icann and making it a people's governance of dns -in-exile.
Why bother trying to kowtow to their board via their ALAC? Why give them the
kudos of participating in their empire?
Quite.
All such websites should form a network, with the links to each other
prominent and uniform.
Danny's, Sotiris' and Jefsey's sites should be part of this "web ring" too.
I sort of like the idea of creating the home of the real at large (the
accountable, democratic movement to represent millions of ordinary users) at
www.ikann.org, and attracting sympathetic organisations to submit papers and
participate intelligently, and simply "set up camp" outside and opposite
Icann.
Yep. A shining beacon of democratic procedure.
A lot of work ahead, Richard.
