Ethics as a way of life, as a personal compromise with the community and

In public office the extent of that compromise becomes clear.
I want to seed the real interest to lead us as a community (good community),
diminishing a lot of bad things (since my point of view), taking actions
as:
- constructing a common interpretation of the atlarge community
I have tried to understand what you might mean, but I am not sure I do. Can
you please elaborate? Do you mean membership polls?
- establishing common goals and general goals
If those general goals are not "common goals", what would they be? Can you
give an example of such a general goal?
- finding the b-sides of the community with the intention of finish them
Please eleborate some more. What are those b-sides?
- take the autoregulation as a way of respect for the other opinions
Do you think self-regulation of an industry driven by a profit motive will
work?
I am sorry that your answers call forth so many new questions.
