I'm not sure if that was Jefsey's intent, but I certainly back Sotiris's
right to sit on the Panel, because that is the will of the Membership, as
expressed in the recent election.

Sotiris may not have liked or endorsed the recent election process, but he
chose to stand, he made clear he was participating when questioned, and
members voted him in.

We can't just overturn democratic process because some people don't like a
candidate. And that's what it's really about. (I repeat, I'm not citing
Jefsey here, I thought he was just reporting back on who'd responded how, to
his questionnaire.)

Sotiris is, and remains, a panelist.
