I am sorry that my questioning of an unproven allegation by a clearly biased
individual, permits you to determine that I have lost all credibility.

The various contributors to this subject clearly agreed that two of the
criteria that may be used to confirm that someone (of any name) is who they
say they are, 1) a phone number to be called for confirmation and 2) an
address that a return receipt or registered mail may be addressed to.  When
Jeff Williams refused to open a PayPal account just to satisfy Sotiris
(which he has every right to do) Sotiris demanded that Jeff provide the
above two methods of confirmation.  Jeff Williams complied with both of
those demands, but the verifiers chose not to use them, presumably because
they do not want to verify Jeff Williams.

As for the photo, are you sure that is Jeff Williams address? If I want to
discredit Jeff Williams (or anyone else for that matter) and I set up a
website for no other purpose than to do that, and I take a picture of a
field and tell the world that this is Jeff Williams address... are you
prepared to use that as evidence that Jeff does not exist, rather than
picking up the phone to call him or sending him a letter?  Is your bias
showing through here Joanna?  Is it not your credibility that is now in
question? Why don't you call Jeff at the number on his sig file? Why don't
you send a registered return receipt letter to the address that he provides?
Could it be that you don't want him to be verified as a real person? The
purpose of your verification should be to satisfy yourself that there is a
Jeff Williams, not to fail in the process so that you can claim that there
is not.

This is not about whether Jeff Williams is, or is not, a desirable
participant... it is about the same rules being applied to all members in
the verification process.

You may question my judgment, as I do yours, but don't talk to me about my
losing all credibility, simply because you have failed do take two simple
steps to test your claim. You will serve us all well if you do that and are
able to prove that Jeff Williams does not exist.

I am not protecting Jeff Williams, I am trying to protect the process, so
that none of us lose our credibility.
