Of course, Jan is quite right here.
I also fail to comprehend why this fledgling organization with
the current mix of members would even consider such a request
to ICANN for any funds what so ever when we should easily be
able to garner such funds via our own efforts, and initially from
our own pockets. Making or engaging in a financial link of
or from ICANN given their history in financial misbehavior
would be a potential prelude to significant intrigue of a negative
nature that as a fledgling organization we cannot afford...
