If Jim had been allowed to continue with his lengthy and largely irrelevant
mails I (and I'm sure some others) would have unsubscribed due to the volume of
irrelevant material passing across my desktop.

This attitude of 'It's Internet so you can't censor it' is childish. Besides,
this isn't the Internet. It's a list. By subscribing you agree to certain
things. Shall I now start posting my thoughts for a new European flag ? Would
you censor me if I did ?
I subscribed to this list to receive information about ICANN in Europe. I would
complain to the list owner if I received anything else.

I have no doubt that other lists will be taking similar action where Jim is
misusing and cross posting largely irrelevant material.

That said, god bless Jim Flemings enthusiasm. He is truly the train spotter of
the Internet.
