Yep. The current process if typical to American thinking. They consider
Europe as a continous cultural region. National pre-elections to get on the
nominee list would be better suit European needs. The other point is: Nobody
knows the ordinary @Large membership. They may choose anybody. A vast
majority can come from one company ... <insert your favorite theory here>
So please wait for a reasonable number of voters.
German candidates are prefered do to a timely mass media campain in Germany.
Other countries will not miss the next chance. The votership does not
repesent Europe. They represent the German speaking part.
