My compliments go to Mr. Claudio Silva Menezes, who (in Latin America)
was the first to overcome the 2% threshold, however calculated. (As
you might have noticed, I have doubts about how to calculate that
threshold, but he has more than the higher threshold I could think
of.)
At least we'll have another member-nominated candidate in one of the
ballots.
