My answer was about Andy. The point I tried to make, perhaps a bit
too indirectly, is that we (Andy and I, that is) do agree on the
necessity of a european council - and also on most other aspects
related to the at-large membership we've discussed so far.
May be you forgot about the 5 NomComs

Sorry about that, impulsive reaction. There have been quite a bit of
unjustified reproaches against Andy on this list. By chance I jumped
on this one ;-)
To put it more generally: We've to cooperate if we want to get the at-
large membership firmly established. I'd wish we wouldn't make things
more difficult by personal hostilities. All of us have enough experience
with mailing lists to know about the inevitable consequences.
