Sorry for the emphasis on the subject but the Jeanette Hofmann msg about
her activation problems made my brain rolling and I double verified on bylaw a
thing that I will explain. (please Jeanette take a seat near to you)
1) Applications for memberships are closed now so no new
members will be accepted.
2) To be a member the application for membership _must_ be verified.
3) To verify the application the PIN _must_ be used.
4) The director _must_ be a member.
This open an interesting scenario where even a Nom-Com candidate may be
not eligible because (s)he is not an @large 'member'.
Jeanette is slighthly in a better position respect , for example to a Nom-Com
candidate who did not apply for membership. The Nom-Com candidate
cannot at all became a member while Jeanette applied and it is not her fault
if PIN arrived late.
This fact will have 'sort of' devastating effects on these elections....so please
try to convince me I'm wrong...
Any opinions?
Best regards
Giorgio Griffini
