You are right.
The voting still has to start and this list should be required reading for
all candidates.
Actually, the candidates from the other ICANN regions, who do not have much
scrutiny from their "Stimmvieh" and no active mailing lists such as this
one would do very well to lurk and even post here.

I also note a refreshing round of position-taking from all candidates who
now know that they will *not* be on the ballot. The future begins here.

There is also the small matter of the DNSO -GA endorsed director. 
I believe we (the GA members) still have 2 days for  an endorsement.
I would like to urge all GA members on this list to consider an endorsement
of Jamie Love, a consumer advocate, who'se positions can be found here
