I've asked Alexander (icannchannel.de) last week if he would be
willing to create sort of a map. Icannchannel could function as a
deposit where people can drop URLs. He seemed to be open to
this idea, but is on vacation for a couple of days. A european site
would be even better.

It's worth a try.

This would only make sense if we knew for sure that enough
people receive their pin after the deadline. I've definitely given up on
my one.
I vaguely remember to have seen an asian site that collects
members without pins. I think this is a necessary first step before
one can ask for a reopening.
