Agree.
All I was saying was that to have some progress in this direction, we
need some structure.
Someone must take the lead and build up the new sturcure. And the AL
membership must be in control. Everybody discussing with everybody
(members and non-members) about everything will not scale. We have to
concentrate on the ICANN issues, names, addresses, protocols. Yes, there
will be spin-offs, like "Internet content", "global democracy", etc. And
there will be people and organisations trying to use ICANN ALM for their
own purposes. But a strong ICANN ALM will be able to handle this in a
structured way.
